public liability policy which covers us for most eventualities.

Do you give free quotations?
We give free initial quotations valid for 30 days.

Can you carry out the complete contract?
We undertake the complete construction process alongside respected sub-contractors
who have worked for us for a long time and work to our high standards.

How involved will I need to be?
As the customer you can choose to be as involved as you feel comfortable.
Some customers appreciate having the ability to leave the project in our hands whereas others prefer to
be more involved. However involved you choose to be we can accommodate and work around you.

What experience does Lakeside Construction have?
The backbone of Lakeside Construction is two fully qualified carpenters who between them have
30 years in the local industry working with other local builders gaining a wealth of experience.

Can you offer advice at the design stage?
We can offer advice from the first ideas through to the final coat of paint, advice with planning permission,
design and functionality. We also have architects and structural engineers whom we have good relations
with should you require more specialist advice. We are aware that embarking on a construction
project of any scale can be daunting and we pride ourselves on being open and honest with any advice we offer.
Our reputation has been built on this.

Do you operate in an environmentally friendly manner?
The construction industry by its very nature produces a high level of waste.
We are committed to minimise the amount of waste we send to landfill by ensuring ordering of
materials is carefully monitored to prevent wastage and we recycle and reuse materials where possible and practical.

Do you operate a clean site?
We ensure that our sites are cleaned at the end of every working day and that sites are thoroughly
swept and tidied every Friday, a tidy site improves our working area and makes for a safer and more
efficient environment. When working in an occupied house we provide clean dustsheets and our own
cleaning equipment to ensure the house is left as clean as when we arrived.
